Khora is a private advisory firm that designs bespoke China programmes for families who understand the world's most consequential economy will shape their children's future. Our purpose is to make sure that engagement happens deliberately — on your terms, with the right access — not by accident, and not too late.
Khora exists for families past the question of whether China matters.
They are operators, founders, and investors whose careers have taken them to Asia, and whose children are now old enough for the harder question: will they grow up understanding China the way their parents had to learn it — in pieces, from the outside — or with the literacy that comes from real time on the ground?
These families do not lack for travel. They lack a structured way to convert a trip into a foundation. Most operators give them a holiday. Khora is led by former Chinese executives, investors, and education experts with international careers.
Before Khora, we ran executive programmes that brought senior international entrepreneurs into China — into the boardrooms, investor offices, and institutions shaping the country's next decade. Our participants did not come back with photographs. They came back with relationships and decisions they would not otherwise have made.
