Why China

By 2035, China is on track to be the world's largest economy. Most families know this. Very few have done anything about it.

Gain early clarity about where China is going. Talk to the people that can guide your business into the China era. Inspire your children to ask important questions about their future.

Only on a custom Khora China Access program, we help you turn a normal family trip into a cross-generational investment.

They simply haven't found a way that felt right for them." — Founder, Khora

Two kinds of China trips.
One is called Khora.

The Khora offer
What exactly is Khora?+

A private advisory firm that designs bespoke China programs for high-net-worth families. We work wth families thinking in decades, not weeks.

Who is this for?+

Families who already know China matters and want to engage with it meaningfully. Typically parents in their 40s or 50s, children aged 10 to 18, a substantial business or portfolio. A sense that their children and family's future will involve Asia.

Who is behind Khora?+

Former Chinese executives, investors, consultants, and education experts with deep international careers. Not tour guides. This gives us reach into China's business, academic, and cultural circles that travel agencies never touch.

Are the programs private?+

Always. One family per program, unless you wish to bring a close friend's family. No published client names, no shared itineraries, no disclosed introductions.

How it works
How do we start?+

A 45-minute private call with our founder. No proposal, no pitch, no selling. We ask questions about your family's thinking about China and tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.

How do you arrange business meetings/cultural activities?+

Through our retained network of sector advisors, founders/CEOs/VPs, investors, operators. UNESCO heritage artisans, history academics, university counsellors. Every activity is pre-qualified for relevance to your business, family and children. You leave with open doors, not just handshakes.

Is China safe for our family?+

China is one of the safest countries in the world for international visitors. For logistics, ground operations, and insurance, we partner with established luxury travel operators with decades of in-country experience — giving every program the full backing of comprehensive liability and medical cover. We control everything from day zero onwards.

What happens after the trip?+

We do complimentary follow-up conversations after your program. For families who want to continue, we offer quarterly intelligence briefings, education advisory, and priority access to introductions and future programs.

Investment and what's included
What is included?+

Almost everything except international flights and personal shopping. 5-star accommodation, experts, transport, translation, program meals, experiences, children's tutoring, business briefings, pre-trip preparation, and post-trip follow-up. Call us to design your program together.

How much does a program cost?+

Typical programs run 6-10 days. Each program is privately designed — and priced accordingly. The access, the people, and the moments we create are not available at any standard price point — because they are not available anywhere else.

Why is it priced like this?+

Because the work behind it — partner relationships, pre-trip research, in-country team, post-trip follow-up — does not exist at any lower price point. We are not the most expensive way to see China. We are the most direct way to engage with it.
